Christina van Loveren arrived in the Cape of Good Hope in 1699. Her descendant, Jean van Zyl married Hennie Retief in 1937 and persuaded him to rename their farm Van Loveren. Today the 3rd generation of Retief cousins are heading one of South Africa's leading wineries and Christina's bridal chest is still the centrepiece in the tasting room. This range celebrates ancestry and honours both remarkable women.
Made in Robertson, South Africa.
