Chateau Caraguilhes - L’Echappée Belle

80% Carignan, 20% Mourvèdre.

Carbonic maceration of the Carignan from the St Jean parcel of land, and the Mourvèdre from the La Tour vineyard, vinified together. Matured for 6 months in vats and for 2 years in bottle.

Deep red with violet glints demonstrating an excellent maturity as well as a seductive youth. Very concentrated with notes of blackberry, black pepper and liquorice. Subtle secondary aromas of thyme and fresh fig.
