The 'house' of Bernard Robert is one of the oldest in the Cotes des Bar. It was in 1945 that Marie-Madeleine Dosne, who came from a family of red wine growers and Bernard Robert, her husband, an ex hairdresser created Champagne Bernard Robert. Their first vintage totalled 300 bottles! Bernard Robert Blanc de Blanc Champagne is a blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Blanc.
