Alkoomi - Riesling

The estate grown fruit for the Alkoomi Riesling was harvested in the early hours of the morning, preserving the delicate varietal flavours that define this cool climate aromatic wine.  All fermentation was carried out in stainless steel, at cool temperatures to preserve the freshness and vibrancy of the fruit.

Colour: Brilliant pale straw with subtle green flecks.

Palate: Intense flavours of lemon, grapefruit with a sherbet-y acidity that gives freshness and length to the palate.

Cellaring: Whilst ready to drink now, this wine will gain in complexity over the next five to eight years.
