From an isolated vineyard, situated 600 metres above sea level near Bédarieux, in the Haut Languedoc national park.
Pale straw colour with a slight orange glints.
An intriguing and rather lovely nose of spiced apple pie, garrigue herbs and soft citrus fruit, with a hint of lemon zest and a definite note of peppermint.
The palate is beautifully fresh and minerally, almost zesty and zingy, with tart apple, rhubarb and lime flavours and a hint of raisin and spice. The texture is nicely rounded, with just a hint of grapeskin tannin, excellent acidity and – like its red sibling – a cool, spicy, minty finish.
Made in Languedoc, France.
